The Northgate Public Services (NPS) Accreditation Scheme allows all DEAs the ability to upload and secure
documentary evidence on the EPC Portal for 15 years. This is, of course, fully accessible
on a read only basis should you wish to leave the scheme or stop practicing as a

and highly experienced staff for all your urgent queries.
PI & PL Insurance is included with cover up to £250,000 and £1,000,000 respectively. PI & PL Insurance is supplied
by Hiscox Insurance. Full details of the policy can be provided on request, or downloaded
as part of the application process should you choose this option.
No additional charges will be made should we be required to deal with a complaint
on your behalf as your accreditation scheme if you choose Option 2 or 3. If you
choose Option 1 you WILL be liable for charges in relation to Northgate Public Services (NPS) handling
any case in relation to a complaint from a member of the public. This will be charged
at A MINIMUM OF £150 + VAT, per case and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

energyFLOW allows you to provide your customers with the ability to order and track
their EPCs via a fully branded online order portal. This includes automated receipt
of the EPC on completion and email tracking options. If you work with a group of
Energy Assessors in a local region, you can use energyFLOW to automate the management
of EPC requests and delivery between all Energy Assessors in your group. In addition,
energyFLOW allows you to receive work from other energyFLOW users and Northgate Public Services (NPS)
Corporate clients (including some Local Authorities and Registered Social Landlords

How do I apply?
Step 1: Simply choose your
EPC payment plan from one of the options, depending on the level of service you

- When applying to join the Northgate Public Services (NPS) scheme and during your time as an accredited
assessor you will adhere to the Energy Assessor Membership Terms and Code of Conduct.
You will be required to adopt our complaint handling procedure and be subject to
the Northgate Public Services (NPS) disciplinary process. These are subject to change and we will notify
all assessors when they are modified. Copies of the documents are made available
on application and joining, they are also available here.
- You can upgrade you chosen option at any time by calling the DEA Helpdesk.
- You may only DOWNGRADE your option at renewal of your membership.
- If you are on Option 1, you MAY be liable for charges in relation to Northgate Public Services (NPS) handling
any case on you behalf in relation to a complaint from a member of the public. This
will be charged at A MINIMUM OF £150 + VAT, per case and is assessed on a
case-by-case basis. You will be advised of all charges.
- For all Options, we reserve the right to charge for excessive quality control measures
should we be required to undertake additional monitoring of your performance as
part of the obligations of an accreditation scheme as laid down by Government bodies
(for example the Department for Communities and Local Government). The minimum charge
will be £150 + VAT and this will be assessed on a case by case basis. You
will be advised of all charges.
- All membership applications must commence using the online registration process,
accessed via the Northgate page.
- Payment for EPCs must be carried out using the secure online payment facility. There
are NO MINIMUM PURCHASES with Options. There is a charge on all Credit
Card purchases but payment by Debit Cards (Maestro / Visa Debit) is free of charge.

- All charges shown on the Options page are plus Landmark (currently £1.67)
and plus VAT at the current rate. You will be presented with a full breakdown and
total price for every EPC order you place, prior to taking payment. You can track
